This role only works if you know the campus from the inside - **You know how to connect** — an exceptionally strong communicator who can make people stop, listen, & care - **You own the room** — you don't just tolerate public speaking;  you look forward to it - **You're already plugged in** — you're active in campus organizations, clubs, or communities. You know where the energy is - **You know how to get noticed** — you have passion for marketing, and a sense for what actually grabs attention ## Responsibilities ### Build the campaign — plan it - **Build out a full-semester marketing plan** tailored to your campus and student community - **Design eye-catching flyers, pamphlets, and promotional materials** that actually get noticed - **Get a quick sign-off from Kapdec** on brand and messaging before anything goes to print - **Print and distribute**  — all approved material costs are covered by Kapdec ### Make noise on the campus — run it - **Pitch Kapdec live** to student clubs, classes, and organizations — your chance to win a room - **Get Kapdec seen everywhere** — post flyers across campus and coordinate residence-hall mail distribution - **Own a table at the action** — student union, library, club fairs, wherever students gather - **Be the face students trust** — the go-to Kapdec rep on campus, answering questions and building credibility ### Grow the movement — win it - **Recruit the next wave of Kapdec mentors** — guide students through creating a verified tutor profile, with Kapdec's system handling the verification - **Chase a real number, not busywork** — 50 activated mentors is your baseline, with 75 and 100 as stretch goals that unlock bigger rewards - **See exactly what's working** — track your recruitment activity and channel performance through your own referral code Apply ## Get paid like your work actually matters ### Kapdec pays Campus Ambassadors above market rate — and the better you perform, the faster your earnings grow.  Your paycheck doesn't just grow with your effort — it accelerates with it. What is Kapdec, exactly? apdec is a curated network of high-achieving STEM undergraduates & grad students who mentor ambitious middle and high school students in SAT, ACT, AP, and advanced mathematics and science. Unlike large open tutoring marketplaces, Kapdec is selective and intentionally built around near-peer academic mentorship.  How is Kapdec different from other tutoring platforms? Mentors can set their charges based on their unique positioning, knowledge, or the subject they wish to teach.  Kapdec is positioned as a premium academic mentorship network rather than a discount tutoring site.  Is there a minimum time commitment? No strict minimum is required. Mentors maintain flexibility and control over: • Availability • Session frequency • Student load However, consistency is encouraged to ensure quality outcomes. Will this help my resume or graduate applications? Yes — meaningfully. Teaching demonstrates: • Subject mastery • Communication ability • Leadership • Mentorship experience Mentors also receive a verified teaching profile summarizing hours taught and student feedback, which may be referenced in professional or academic contexts. Mentors can use a highly credible work experience through Kapdec to highlight their achievements, in job applications or in pursuing higher studies, to demonstrate tutoring / mentoring exposure. Who handles payments and scheduling? Kapdec has partnered with the world’s leading payment gateway provider. It provides structured processes for: • Secure payment handling • Session tracking • Professional conduct standards. This ensures mentors can focus on teaching rather than administrative burden. What makes someone a strong Kapdec mentor? The strongest mentors: • Recently mastered the subjects they teach • Can explain complex ideas simply • Care about student growth • Approach teaching with professionalism Near-peer relatability is a core strength of the Kapdec model. How are mentors verified? To maintain academic integrity and trust: • University email verification is required • Academic background is reviewed • A brief conversation or recorded introduction may be requested Verification protects both mentors and students. How are students matched? We do not play as a matchmaker agency. We do not interfere with those who wish to teach a specific student. Students apply based on subject needs and academic goals and may select mentors based on their comfort level. What happens after I apply? Applications are reviewed carefully.
